Birmingham Bar Association

The Birmingham Bar Bulletin

The Bulletin is a quarterly publication of the Birmingham Bar Association provided to its membership of roughly 4,000 lawyers and judges in the metropolitan Birmingham area. The Bulletin committee oversees the publication and prepares and solicits articles on developments in the law and human interest topics. These often include book reviews, lawyer avocations, judicial profiles, elections of officers, member and bar activity announcements, and articles of general interest. First published in the 1960s, the publication's inaugural editor was William H. Cole, Sr., who was succeeded by Warren Lightfoot from 1968-1974. Robert R. Kracke has edited the publication since then, except for 1978 when R. O. Hughes served in the position.
