Join the BBA Lawyer Referral Service and Build your Business!

The Lawyer Referral Service is a service offered by the Birmingham Bar for people in our community who want to hire an attorney
It is also an opportunity for Birmingham Bar members to grow and diversify their client base
Birmingham Bar members are eligible to join the Lawyer Referral Service and will receive referrals based on their practice areas
The Lawyer Referral Service is not a pro bono or reduced-fee service. Prospective clients are advised that all legal fees, including any consultation fee, are negotiated between the referred attorney and prospective client
Neither the attorney nor the prospective client is under any obligation to move forward with the matter

It's only $100 per year to be on the Lawyer Referral Service and you could get up to 30-40 referrals each year (depending on practice area)
The program runs from June through May each year, and you must reapply each year!

To sign up for the Lawyer Referral Service, you must be in good standing with the Alabama State Bar
Also, you must be a member of the Birmingham Bar Association

You will be notified when your application has been received and evaluated
Your membership will become active once we have approved your application and received your enrollment fee of $100
