Be a Mentee or Mentor in the
2026 New Lawyer Mentoring Program
A 5-month interactive and engaging session
The Birmingham Bar Association's New Lawyer Mentoring Program assists new lawyers as they become experienced legal practitioners. New lawyers (Mentees) are paired with experienced lawyers (Mentors) for a quality one-on-one mentoring experience. Participation in the program is voluntary and FREE! A brief history and overview of the program is available here.
FOR MENTEES: BBA members who have been actively practicing for 3 years or less are invited apply. Submit a Mentee application here.
FOR MENTORS: BBA lawyers who have practiced at least 5 years are invited to become a mentor. The Program seeks experienced, professional and ethical lawyers who can assist Mentees as they transition to experienced practitioners. Submit a Mentor application here.
